Frequently Asked Questions for the GTT Prisoner's Dilemma Simulator

1. Administrator / Instructor Questions

   • Q: Where do I go to change a team's score?
   • A: Team scores are calculated based on the points table and the transaction table, They are not stored in the database but are recalculated each time.
     To make a change to a team's score, view your dilemmas, choose the one the team is using, then edit the dilemma to change their decision in the transaction table. Refresh the scoreboard to confirm the new score.
      
   • Q: Some of my dilemmas are showing up without links, what should I do?
     A: You may have exceeded your number of allowed dilemmas. Visit your account settings to check you "Allowed dilemmas".
     If that number is less than the number of dilemmas you have created, you may need an account upgrade.
      
   • Q: How do I delete a dilemma?
     A: As an instructor, you can mark a dilemma for deletion using the edit fucntion from the view your dilemmas screen. 
     Once you havethe edit screen up for the dilemma you wish to remove, scroll down to the STATUS field and select "Mark for deletion".
     Please note: The system will periodically harvest dilemmas marked for deletion. These dilemmas do not count against your license total.

2. Participant / Student Questions

   • ​​Q: I am a student / participant trying to use the site login page but my password isn't working.
     A: As a participant, you don't need to login to the site. Simply visit the Participant Portal which will prompt for your Participant ID and Participant password.
     (You receive those from your instructor / coach / simulation coordinator)
